Announcing... The 2012 Haliburton School of The Arts Catalogue now on line!
After having above capacity courses the last three years, I am very pleased to announce that this year I will be teaching 2 sessions of stimulating printmaking in Haliburton!!
Each course will feature screen monoprinting due to it's continued popularity. The technique is simple for the beginning creative, yet offers extensive layering complexities and possibilities to our many returning students. Both courses will offer the opportunity to expand beyond this very painterly medium, incorporating and juxtaposing various relief printing mediums to create unique works of art.
The ease with which monoprints are created allows artists to delve into their imagery and be prolific at playing!
Hope you will join us in this incredibly supportive environment, surrounded by others immersed in exploring their creativity.
Throw it. Carve it. Craft it. Paint it. Write it. Sing it. Quilt it.
This year's program is an exciting blend of perennial favourites and fresh new offerings. The schedule is available online now at www.hsta.ca and calendars will be in the mail February 24.
If you can imagine it, we have it!
Choose from 350 diverse courses offered throughout the spring, summer and fall.
We're pleased to be returning to Huntsville this summer. We will be offering week-long courses at the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment for three weeks in July. There are also opportunities at OCAD University in Toronto and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg.
